I just finished watching Hamlet, the movie with Ethan Hawke. It's one thing to cry at a movie where you didn't know the ending (Million Dollar Baby), but it's a whole other level of movie when you know the ending almost by heart and it affects you so much. Here are the best lines, according to me, beause I feel like it and I'm a fucking nerd (spoiler alert).
"Remember me", when the ghost beats him up, feels his heart beat, and then hugs him.
"Forgive me my foul murder" when Claudius is praying for forgiveness in the limo and Hamlet is aiming at him.
"I have of late, but wherefore I know not, lost all my mirth". Nuff said.
"Forgive me" Gertrude after drinking the wine to save Hamlet.
"Good night, sweet prince. Flights of angels sing thee to thy rest" Hamlet is shot, then Horatio supports him so that he can kill Claudius, then Hamlet says the whole "I am dead" speech, dies, then Horatio says that. I cried like a little girl.
